I discovered this when I was burning trash one day completely by accident. I was messing around with my potato cannon and tennis ball launcher as I made sure the trash fire didn’t spread. Then I fired the potato cannon and it sent a plastic bag into a tree and as it melted and burned it let off quite a pyrotechnic show.
So, for my next party, I took a 16 foot 2 by 4 I had laying around and raised it 12 feet in the air. Then I took regular grocery bags and tied a knot about 6 inches from each end. I repeated this process 32 times. I then took and nailed them 6 inches apart all the way down the 16 foot 2 by 4. When it was still daylight I had a lot of people ask “hey what’s that?” I responded “that’s for later”. For safety and effect it is best if you can to place as far away as possible. Also, it is best to place dirt or some type of protection down because the melted plastic will ruin the grass. So, when you light it just run down the length and stay out from under it. The show is pretty spectacular. The more you use obviously the better the show. If you nail them two inches apart it will look just like the fire falls they do off bridges for the fourth of July. If you do it like I said you will get two heavy areas when the fire hits the knots so it is like a middle and finale show.
The biggest thing to understand is that burning plastic can release toxic fumes and these fumes can be extremely dangerous. The fumes are dangerous to the respiratory system and can cause a burning sensation in the nose, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. Prolonged exposure can cause dizziness, vomiting and even death. As we said, keep your distance. It’s a better show and it’s protects you from toxic fumes!

My father was in the military and he wanted me to join the army, but I somehow was interested in other things and didn’t join the army. My son who is 11 years old is very interested and keeps telling me that one day he would join the army and serve the country and I am proud of him. He tells me that he wants real gun to shoot and experience how it is like, but I am careful not to give him such things, but when he goes to my father’s house, he teaches him all kinds of stuff. My father then told him that he would make potato guns for him.
My son was surprised hearing this and my father browsed the internet and found a website on how to make a potato gun and my father and my son took pains to make potato guns referring the website. Once they had finished, the potato gun looked perfect and my son was able to shoot as many potatoes he liked and he thanked his grandfather so much. My father then told my son to play with potato guns at the present time and when he grows big, he could join the army and use the real gun.

My friend’s daughter, Susie used to go and play with our next neighbor, Tracy. Both of them were great friends. One day Susie saw Tracy play with something like a round object and asked Tracy what that was. Tracy replied it was a potato gun that her father had purchased for her and asked Susie also to play with that. When Susie played with those, she found playing with potato guns quite amazing and made up her mind that she also was going to ask her father to buy them for her and decided that she would tell her father that night itself.
When Susie’s father heard this, he said he wouldn’t buy them as they would be expensive, but Susie told her father to browse the above website because Tracy’s father told he had built potato gun for Tracy. Susie’s father then did as per her orders and was finally able to locate the site potato for gun and found that the information furnished there were very cool such that one would be able to make good potato guns and it would be fun watching the children play. Now, Susie also was happy that also got potato guns as her own and that she could play with them whenever she wanted to.

Does anyone know the origin of fireworks? Well, they originated from China some 2000 years ago and China is the first country to have found out fireworks. The story goes off as a Chinese cook when working in the kitchen accidentally mixed sulfur, charcoal, and saltpeter and this mixture happened to burn and then explode. This is how gunpowder was discovered. There are even several saying that fireworks may have been discovered in India, but the actual credit for this invention goes to China for the invention of gun powder. So, actually there is confusion about the invention of fireworks and gun powder.
Not only the Chinese, The English also have great fancy for fireworks and they became popular during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I and the Queen herself used to watch the fireworks as she loved them so much. Even William Shakespeare has mentioned fireworks in many of his works as he was also fascinated by fireworks. So fireworks mark the occasions for many events like New Year’s Eve and they are even find place in temples, birthday parties, and functions. So with the emergence of fireworks so many people have been benefited and to this day everybody loves them.

Playing with potato cannons are great fun

In the past, cannons were used during the war and those can be seen in many old movies and one day after my son had watched one such movie, he and his younger brother were playing war games. They took up a pipe and pushed potatoes through the hole of the pipe. Watching them play, I suddenly had an idea, I took some materials available at home and made something like a potato cannon and dropped potatoes through that, but it was not working properly and my sons on seeing that were adamant that they were wanted something like a real cannon. I kept wondering what to do next and told them I would think of a solution.
I then thought I would browse the Internet and find out if I could find something and then to my surprise, I found exactly what I wanted. I saw this wonderful site and this had details on how to build a potato cannon and I actually made them for my sons. Finally when I finished, it looked like real potato cannons. My sons were exhilarated seeing that and when they did play the game, it was like they were playing with real cannons and they enjoyed to a great extent.

Ever since I visited my brother’s place and saw a potato launcher, I wanted one just like it. When I asked him where he got it from, he told me that it was a secret and that he was not going to tell me. After that exchange, I was adamant that I had to get the launcher by all means and I searched in many stores and I didn’t find potato launchers in many of them and in the store that I found what I wanted, it was just to costly make myself buy it.
Finally I thought that I would search on the internet and if I still didn’t find any, I would just give up. But I was really lucky because I found this cool website which was just great because I got potato launcher plans from here. I built the launcher quite soon and I wanted it to be ready before my brother visited me and it was ready. The look on my brother’s face was priceless when he saw that my launcher looked and launched potatoes better than his. I also had the final laugh because while I had to spend a minimal amount, he bought it at a store for a lot of money and I was really very happy.

One day I had gone to my sister’s house with my family. There my sister’s sons were playing with potato guns and my son also joined the party. He was really thrilled about the game and he actually did not want to come home at all and so he stayed in my sister’s house for two days. When he came after that he started pestering me by telling that he wanted a potato gun or he wanted to stay in my sister’s house and never come to our house. I was at a loss as to what to do and finally decided I would get one for him.
At first I decided to get them from the hardware store and when I inquired about the prices, they were too high and I was rather frustrated because I knew if I buy it once, he would ask me again and again. Ultimately I bought them for him, but later on one day when I was browsing through different websites, I came across potato launchers and when I read through the details, I was surprised since it had all the details regarding potato cannon and how to make them and that information was indeed useful because it saved me from buying another gun.
